SR 3-6713427991 : Siebel Database Upgrade Path with 8.1.1.9 SIA

Hi All,

Please find the below upgrade path followed & let us know the way to go forward.

Steps Performed:
Completed upgrade in development environment.
1) Windows 2008 - 64 bit Server.2) Oracle 11g Database.3) Oracle OS : HP/UX. 4) The upgrade run successfully with 8.1.1.0 Base + 8.1.1.7 Patch.

After the upgrade is completed, there are product bugs indentified with 8.1.1.0 base + 8.1.1.7 patch. They are below.

a) Active Directory set up is not working. b) EBC's configuration with Active Directory Authentication is not working.

We raised a SR & oracle support engineer confirmed that it is a product defect & install higher patch. SR: 3-6572326577

So we decided to apply 8.1.1.9 patch to get the benefits of Siebel Open UI & to solve the ADSI Authentication Issue identified in 8.1.1.7.
