Event 10053 - understanding the trace

Hi everyone,
Would anyone have some good references they can share please with regard to how to read the 10053 trace?  We need to identify differences between 9i and 11g optimizer behaviours and it'd be very handy to udnerstand how to read the 10053.  Any references would be fantastic.
