Applying GI PSU 11,2,0.3.5

Hi

-We have a cluster and RAC databases on 3 Linux-64 servers, all in the same release 11.2.0.3 .

  The GI and DB home are not shared.

  We are going to apply the GI PSU 11.2.0.3.5 onto GI and DB home together.

   I have 2 questions in the  applying of  the GI PSU 11.2.0.3.5:

 1-      I see no instruction in the README doc to shutdown the cluster or the databases before running the command ‘opatch auto unzip_patch_location –ocmrf <response file>

Do I miss something or is it really no need to shutdown nothing ?

I would think that at least we need to shutdown all the database instances, right ?
