Current Period Retirement and NBV Retired

Hi All,

We are on 11i. As per standard functionality when an asset is retired with a NBV, the amount is transferred to NBV retired. Our business users would like to see the depreciation go to reserve as we have used the asset the entire month and then retire it. Is there a way to avoid the NBV Retired account and still retire the same month?
