Decimal Data Errors encountered when running Cross Reference Rebuild (J980010) in A9.3

In release A9.3, running the rebuild cross reference index, J980010, may result in decimal data errors. The reason for this is that program P980010 is encountering RPGLE programs in Software Versions Repository (SVR) misflagged as RPG, and RPG programs misflagged as RPGL. In order for the Cross Reference Rebuild to run successfully, you must correct the records in SVR - the Function Code field (SIFUNC) in F9801 must be RPG for RPGIII programs, and RPGL for RPGLE programs. Follow the steps below to identify and correct the appropriate records:

Create a physical file containing the Object Descriptions of all programs in JDFOBJ:
