Disabling unnecessar tax codes in eTax

Hi

Our customer has setup eTax some time ago and now they have noticed that there are some unnecessary tax codes for them and want to take away them from screens so that users doesn't pick them in mistake.

What things need to be considered when disabling tax codes ?

eg. are the some errors when running tax reports for whole year and tax code has been used eg. in the beginning of the year.

Or something else to keep in mind.
