Data Access Sets
Data Access Sets can only include ledgers with the same calendar and only one Data Access Sets can be assigned to a responsibility AND when creating accounting in subledgers, all ledgers attached to the primary ledger must have accounting journals created successfully or none will be created and it will error out (if the method selected is to post journals from subledgers).
Oracle also allows secondary ledgers to use a different calendar. So how can you create accounting from a subledger (projects for instance) when one of the ledgers assigned to the primary ledger uses a different calendar and you get an error message when create accounting runs stating that the data access set does not contain this ledger and that this is why you cannot create accounting?
