How many databases dataguard broker can manage ?

Hello,what is the maximum number of databases dataguard broker can manage ?
I don't find best practices/white paper on this subject.
I wiil have almost 9 instances on Lunix OEL6/11.2.0.3 with asm and restart (from grid infrastructure standalone).
Is it a good idea to manage dataguard with broker or is it better to manage dataguard with script ?
