Importing Products, Customers and Customer Contact data

Hi,

We are currently in the process of implementing a new PS FSCM system for one of our client, and are planning to import the Products, Customer and Customer contact data from legacy systems into peoplesoft.

Product Data import Approach:

The customer treats, Items and Products as one and hence when they are providing the Product data, we will use it to create the ITEM first (via Item Loader process + ExcelToCI) and via Item loader I will be able to create a Product respectively, which is possible by setting the Create Product checkbox in the Item controls page. Once the Item and Products are created, the Product attributes tables can be populated by using AE + File Layout + Respective CIs of the Product attributes component.
