Does Global Intercompany in R12 supports transactions between multiple Ledgers ?

Hi ,
We have two Entities (Operating Units) that uses two different Ledgers , I was wondering whether the AGIS can be implemented to create Intercompany transactions between Operating units that uses different Ledger.
I have found a good document in Metalink but unfortunately it only describe the process for operating units that uses the same Ledger 

 Have anyone successfully configured AGIS to create AR/AP transaction between two operating units using different Ledgers ?
