Delinquency Notices

I am using 8.12 with the latest ESU updates and baseline, and I am running delinquency notices R03B20 and everything works fine for invoices, however there is one customer that has credit notes/memos outstanding and the credit notes do not generate a delinquency notice.

Is this because the data selection R03B525 does not include the credit note document type, or is it that delinqency notices are only designed to printed invoices
