Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Guys, just wanted to share the experience of installing Siebel FP 8.1.1.9 on Linux64 bit:

please do not forget use 32-bit JAVA JRE and all its dependencies (such as libXi-1.0.1-* package for i386 platform).

Missing dependencies will be well seen in the java errors like:

".../lib/i386/xawt/libmawt.so: libXi.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

Use the OS admin command to install the package (e.g. yum install glibXi-1.0.1 i386 to solve the missing libXI.so.6 error) and all will be fine.

If you try to run OUI with 64-bit bit, it will always fails (hang on "creating instace screen") with the error like:
