How to enable Minimize and Maximize Controls for an Applet ?

Hi,

Becuase of too many Applets in a view are causing users to scroll up & down, we thought of providing Minimize and Maximize feature for the applets so that they can see only those details they are interested in.

I've followed below steps

1. added HideApplet, MaximizeApplet, MinimizeApplet controls on the applet

2. Set User Layout property in View WebTemplate of View to TRUE

3. The 'Display Visibility' is set to null at 'View WebTemplate Item" level.

4. Changed the applet WebTemplate to "Applet List Portal (Graphical)"

I'm able to see the controls on top right corner but they are not enabled. Is there anything I've missed here ? I understand that these controls are specific to HomePage applets but I tried to mimic all the required stuff in the general  View as well. This is on Siebel 8.1.1.7.
