Is it possible to update existing modifiers using the QP_Modifiers_PUB.Process_Modifiers or other AP

Hello,

I am responsible for creating an interface upload of pricing modifier information including the creation of new modifiers as well as the update of existing modifiers.  Can the Process_Modifiers package be leveraged to update existing modifiers?  I'm getting the following error while attempting to run Process_Modifiers for an existing modifier:

  err msg 1is: This name is currently being used as a modifier name or factor list name. Modifier names and Factor List names cannot be shared. Please enter a unique name.

There is a note 791346.1 that addresses this error; however, I have been unable to successfully process an update without triggering this error...
