Q:  Pay type and DBA (deduction, benefit, accural) is special handle to box 66 and attached box 66 to T4 work file build , Why is there no amount display for this box on the employee T4 summary ewview (P077251)?

A:  T4 special handling is unique.  T4 speical handling is programmed to read the F06148 file to populated any box that you special handle on the any of the Candian year end forms such as T4, T4A, Releve 1, Releve 2, and NR4.  This file does not populated automatically during final update during the payroll run.  You willl need to run the PDBAs to Tax Area Sum. F0614 (J07148) to populate this file.  This is one of the required step in the T4 year-end guide in preparation for  T4 work file build.  In short, your F06148 is currently does not contain the information
