Using User Defined Journal Type (06/LE) in the HRAAI

Is it possible to utilize, in the HR AAI, a User Defined Journal Type (06/LE) without putting at risk Time and Labor and Payroll?

The set up will then be something like this:

User Defined Journal Type

06/LE

XM = Material

YM = Miscellaneous

The HRAAI will therefore be setup this way (P069043):

This will then be used by our custom object to derive the accounting. My question is will this affect the Payroll, Time Card process?
