Hi,

We are following the metalink 290807.1 for Deploying Sun JRE (Native Plug-in) for Windows Clients in Oracle E-Business Suite 11i. As we are using Linux server we downloaded jre-7u11-linux-i586.tar.gz for 32 bit. In the document for the below step 2 they have given how to rename JRE plug-in for windows server. Can you please let us know how to do the same for linux?

Thanks

Kumar

Step 2. Rename the JRE Plug-in and Place it on the Web Server

Step 2.1. Rename the JRE 6 Native Plug-in

Rename the downloaded JRE 6 Native Plug-in file to j2se<version>.exe

For example:

Howdy, Stranger!
