I am exploring the Enterprise Managment technology for the department and came across some questions and wonder if you could assist. 

 I am going to build  new box to take the role of Enterprise Managment-EMGrid  ( with the repository  database  and the middleware OMS) if my terminology is right.  The trick is that, in our existing environment, there is already a box using the technology using 10g version, but I believe it have some configuration issues (I plan to keep this up in parellel with the new one I build for a while).  I am wondering, after I install and configure this new box with the laterst available version which I believe 12c, can the existing agent(10g) delployed at each existing monitored host talks to this new box
