EBS R12 - Status values : incompleted list of values when creating a new SR

Navigation: Setup > Service Requests > Request Status
I added a new Status XXX.
And afterwards i created a new SR with the status Open.
But when trying to update the status of the new created SR, the new status value XXX is not in the list of values .
What must be done to update this list?
