Order type for internal sales orders

We use internal req/sales orders to transfer between oganizations.  The order type on the internal sales order comes from purchasing and is always the same regardless of the organization we will transfer to.  We want to have different order types depending on the destination org so that we can assign demand classes to group orders.  How to do this?
