Upgrading an existing SRT

ASAP is upgraded from 7.0.0 to 7.0.1 Patch1. Previous SRT was installed using SRT file ASAP.R7_0_0.b64.srt. Do we need to upgrade the SRT as well?
We have tried to trigger the ASAP.R7_0_1.B111.srt installer to upgrade SRT. When we trigger the SRT installer, it is throwing exception of "ASP1.JMSServer already exist". 

Is there a need to clear off all the JMS server, module, EAR file prior with SRT upgrade?
