Cannot get 11g db's to autostart after AIX server reboot, 9i db's reboot ok.

UPDATE to question: 

I have found that the dbstart for 11g is getting an error.  I am unfamiliar with this script and have not yet found a document to explain the flag options.

On the production DB server, AIX 5.3, both Oracle 9i and 11g  are installed.
