archives not able to shift to the archive destination on the standby server...

Hi,

The archives are not able to shift to the standby database archive deatination...and because of this it is not able to keep itself in sync with production.

we can see "?/dbs/arch" as archive location on the standby database when we fire archivbe log list command, but the actual archive location is something different which is already set.

and the strange thing is when i try to see in alert log of production DB to see if there is any errors.... there is no errors mentioned.

and on production after checking in V$ARCHIVE_DEST the LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_2 is in DISABLED state....but in show parameter archive we can see it is in ENABLED state.
