Impact on Hyperion Planning using IE7 or 8 If we don't setup on IE setting called---> "Always allow

Hyperion Guru:

We are implementing the Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.2 and as a part of this implemenation it was recommended special IE browser setting for IE 7 & 8. One of the setting is "Always allow session cookies".
We are wondering if there will be any impact by NOT setting up this one setting in our IE browser setting?
Is this have any impact to our users using IE 7 or 8 browser when accessing our Hyperion Planning application?
Your feedbacks, asstisnace on this greatly appreciated.
