Creating a New Date

Hi

Really i am finding it difficult to lean the coding part. Not able to get any material online. As we have a short of the Manpower i am unknown of coiding but with the VB coding i am able to do the code i know the logic but not able to find the tools to place the logic.

I would like to build a New Date like.

if the date is given '01/05/2012' .. I need to generate a new date as '01/04/2012'

If the date is given as '01/02/2012'..I need to generate a new date as '01/04/2011'
