We are pleased to inform you that we have created a new advisor - Install& Configure Advisor: Siebel 8.1.1.9/8.2.2.2 (Note 1511247.1)

This advisor should be your starting point when considering upgrading to one of the new versions – 8.1.1.9 or 8.2.2.2.

 

Document Sections:

-          Evaluate phase provides details on the new features like Open UI, Server Cloning, Mobile etc.

-          Plan phase helps you define your upgrade path whether it is patch installation or full repository update.

-          Install phase explains changes affecting Installer and Siebel Image creator and provides installation details from software download to installation validation.

-          Configure phase gives details about changes affecting Siebel Configuration Wizards where new commands are provided for starting these wizards; also it gives high level configuration steps for Open UI.
