 Hi,
We are on WS 7.3 cume 12. We encountered a situation where the backorder release program P42118  splitted  a backorder line into 2 lines with decimal quantities (order Qty was 6 Each and the lines were split as 1.79 and 4.21  Each.  The unit of measure was "each"(also the Primary UOM) through out the transaction and there were no partial quantities available which could have made P42118 choose 1.79 Qty to ship.

We have defined a UOM conversion as 1 Each = 56.5 LB (Pounds) .Item is Serial number controlled, wonder how  the backorder release split line in decimal quantities.

Please advise if backorder release program can split lines in decimal quantities even if there was no partial quantity available in stock.

Howdy, Stranger!
