Doubts concerning instance creation.
Hello.
I have the following doubt:
I have a disk C: with the database software (binaries) and the files of an instance (datafiles, redologs, controlfiles, etc).
I have another disk wich is empty and I want to install a new instance in this disk.
Can I just run DBCA (from disk C:) and tell it to install tne new instance on drive even if the binaries are located in C: drive?
Or do I have to install softaware binaries on drive and then run DBCA located in drive?
Thanks in advance.
