API Interface to On Demand Marketing

Our ebusiness development community is interested in Oracle's On Demand Marketing tool functionality and wondering if you have an API that our company can interface with to do the following:

a.  subscribe people to mailing lists

b. trigger real time emails to individuals with templated vairables

Here are the 2 cases we want to be able to do with ODM - or find out how one would do it.

1) Bob goes to website.com and sees small form for 'Join our email program'. Fill out information with first name, last name, his dog Jasmine's favorite treat, and email address and submits. All information is directly fed into ODM as attributes (including Jasmine's favorite treat) and a welcome email is sent to Bob within 3 minutes.
