MSCA Scan DFI

In R12.1.3;

When user attempts to scan a barcode to display the LPN details on the Outbound->Packing->Split screen the LPN number appears in the From LPN textbox, and is then automatically removed from the screen by the system.  The user however, is able to input the LPN by typing it in themselves, however this is causing significant productivity issues for our warehouse.

1. In one of our test environments, where we did not apply patch 14094713, there are no default_value_varchar2 for DFI, for any attributes part of the INVRESOURCETABLE region.
2. Given this, is it safe for us to remove all DFI values set under default_value_varchar2?  We don't use out of range searching, and our bar-codes are not appropriately encoded to handle this.
