Adding previous years to Year Dimension

Hello Gurus,

I am creating a new Planning EPM Application.  I have already deployed it and I was just told by the requester that they would like to put some historical data into it.  I did not accommodate the Year dimension for this.  I start on FY14.  They would like to add FY12 and FY13 data into it.  When I try to add FY12 and FY13 to my dimension and validate the application, it says that I am not able add previous years.  Is there a way around this?  Or, does anyone have any suggestions on how to get my 2 previous years into my application
