Tax Interface Upload Issue

We are creating a tax book and ran across an unusual problem.  We ran a periodic mass copy and have a process to make some changes to the assets using the tax interface.  WE have re-created 8 tax books and have only faced this issue with one of the books.  There are approximately 4000 assets that are on the tax interface and when we try to load them it errors out with a very generic error message  APP-OFA-48289 - Unknown error.

Has anyone else ever encountered this?
