Question on adpatch apply=no
Hi,
Our system is a crucial 24/7 environment, and we take database daily full backup. But I have a small question on backing up the app tier.
Assume I need to apply a patch using adpatch. I have taken the backup of the database and there is no app backup taken before the patch apply.
Is it possible for me to apply the respective patch using "apply=no" option and find out which files are affected in the apps tier and backup only those affected files while the EBIZ System is up and running and safely apply the patch.
In which case I can restore the backup if anything goes wrong.
