audit failed logins

Hi

I have a user account that is continuously getting locked because a user or process is attempting to connect and not succeeding.   Is there a way to identify what OS or process is trying to connect as this userid and locking the account?   Would audit create session give me what I want?  Does oracle have such a feature to track the ip and machine of failed logins?

This is oracle 11.2.0.2.
