Anyone out there using CIFS [in kernel smb], Solaris 11 + integrated with a really big AD environmen

Hi all.
Well, after weeks of trying, even when I'm ever so close, Solaris 11.1 just has too many little problems to provide a seamless experience with Samba + QFS + ActiveDirector + Open PBIS/Centrify. There seems to be just too many bumps in the road to make it sane, and every little thing is a small fight.

So, I'm going to ask the question - is anyone out there using in kernel CIFS with a big active directory environment and has successfully integrated?

I had a bit of a go at it today using smbadm to join a domain ant whatnot, but beyond that, I'm trying to get my head around idmapping and what strategy I should use.
