ODA 2.5 VM Confusion

As i'm reading thru the ODA 2.5 1520579.1  I'm confused.
Normally a bare metal is supposed ot happen on both nodes on the ODA. the doc doesnt explain if we need to baremetal  with the OVM patch one at a time.
there are seperate screenshots
that point out
/opt/oracle/oak/oakcli configure firstnet will do a global Ip's on both dom 0.

So is the Baremetal global and will apply the OVM ISA on both nodes to create dom0's on both server s?
Also what is the definition of net1, net2 how do they map to xbond0,bond1 etc
