Getting error while installing oracle 10.2.0 on Linux 64bit server

Dear Super DBA's,am getting error while installing oracle 10g on 64bit linux server.

This below error comes up when the installation has reached 85% completion

Error in invoking target 'ntcontab.o' of makefile '/orvappl/raorv/oracle/product/10.2.0/client1/network/lib/ins_net_client.mk'.

kindly help as am not sure what caused the error.
