BI Publisher: Barcode font not working in PDF preview: Tried every solution to no avail.

I've read many posts, but I still can't seem to get my PDF preview to work for the barcode font.  I am running 11.1.1.6 and Word 2010.  I've started on a blank RTF with just simple text being hard-coded and changed to the barcode font.  In the RTF, the barcode appears.  When I preview the PDF, I get an error (which shows the proper xdo.cfg file being referenced).

I've read through the following articles on this thread and tried:
