Apache Error maybe?

This morning all of a sudden, no one can get to the ebs login page. As a quick fix, I bounced apache. And everything went fine again. But I do like to find out really what might be the root cause. I am seeing some messages in HTTP_Server.log

/ebs/intapp/inst/apps/int_psdintapp/logs/ora/10.1.3/Apache/oracle/log.xml: Value too large for defined data type
Init failed: OraLogDir, specified path or default: could not open log file.
Solution: verify permissions and that all path components exist.
