Creating Configured Finished Good Item in Quoting Process ....

This may have been asked before but i wanted to check if there is any solution option.

We are in ATO environment and hence everything needs to configured to order. Customer is given a Quote using Quoting process and we can access "Configure" option to configure and get pricing for the customer configuration. But this does not create the final Finished Good item (aka Star Item). Few of our external customers need that Finished Good item and not giving their PO until they have the that. These external customers use that Finished Good item in their PO and their own processes.
