Migration from JDE 8 on IBM to JDE 9.1 on Oracle

Hello: We are currently having our JDE Version 8, running on IBM Technology Products (DB2, Websphere). Our plan is to study the feasibility, advantages/disadvantages of migrating our JDE from IBM products to Oracle products (DB. Middle-ware), on JDE Release 9.
Please can you advise and post your recommendations?
