Task Planned Effort value issue

Hi

We are experiencing an issue with the task planned effort field for scheduable tasks.

If I enter a value of let's say 1 (Hour) in the planned effort field and save the record, the value then 1 automatically chages to 0.3 (Hour)  or 2 hours changes to 0.7 etc etc, there appears to be some conversion or calculation behind the scenes. Strangely though the scheduled stard and end dates show correctly, ie/ a 1 hour gap or a 2 hour gap!

For other units of measures selected such as Days, Minutes, Month etc then the change does not happen.

Was wondering if anyone has ever experienced this before and whether it some parameter or setup that is possibly controling this feature?
