ASM Disks Lost
Hi Guys,
One of our db running oracle 11gr2 failed... since ASM cannot find disks after reboot of Linux server there were no changes made that could have affect asm permission or disks... before the reboot everything was running ok.
Following are configuration details...
Linux = Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.7 (Tikanga)
Kernal = 2.6.18-274.el5
ASM RPM installed = oracleasm-support-2.1.7-1.el5.x86_64.rpm , oracleasmlib-2.0.4-1.el5.x86_64.rpm and oracleasm-2.6.18-274.el5-2.0.5-1.el5.x86_64.rpm
Host = VMware ESXi 5.0.0, 821926 running on vSphere 5
Host is connected to XIV Storage with FC HBA’s
Guest is running hardware version 7
Using a LSI Logic Parallel SCSI controller
