How does the GoldenGate Metric Value Data Flow

Hi Raj

I have questions regarding the flow of the metric data through GoldenGate into the OEM 12C repository.  What are the interfaces and flow between GG Process (Mgr, Extract, Replicat), BDB, Jagent, Plug-in, and OEM Repository.  Maybe you could confirm my understanding and/or correct and add to my understanding.

1.       Each of the GoldenGate processes (each of the Extracts and Replciats) write metric data to the BDBD (Berkeley DataBase) ?

 

2.       The Jagent retrieves the data from BDB ?

 

a.       It uses property value of jagent.jmx.port to communicate with BDB ?

 

b.      If true, what does the Jagent do with the metric data values? Where does it write/send it?
