E1 - 9.0 Product Costing: Blank cost component updating standard costs in F30026

We have experienced an issue with standard costs in F30026 being updated by blank cost component (during the upload in F30026). UDC 30/CA keeps the cost components. Is it necessary to keep a blank cost component in this UDC? We  think that we can avoid this issue in the future if we delete the line with the blank  cost component  from the UDC TABLE - but are not sure if the blanks have to stay in the UDC TABLE for some reason?
