  • WorldVision - A JD Edwards World GUI application that translates the 5250 data stream for releases A7.3 and A8.1. Most customers install this application as a client install on each individual PC/Laptop. Telnet is the used method of communication with any client install.
  • WorldVison is no longer a supported GUI intereface.   
  • Web Enablement - A JD Edwards World GUI application that translates the 5250 data stream for JDE releases A7.3 cumulative 16, A9.1, A9.2, A9.3 and above. Most customers install this application as a iSeries server environment where access is done via a browser that launches a java applet. JTalk is the method of communication typically on port 1289.
