Favorites - Does not recognize Fine Cut

9.1 - We developed a standard menu template that is used by the company for all modules.  We added programs to these templates and then did the Fine Cut and by Role through the Fat Client.  When we use the Navigator our Fine Cut is recognized.  However, if you move the folder to Favorites, security and Fine Cut are ignored.  There is a support document that confirms this is the way it works.  Has anyone developed a work around for this issue?  We are considering blocking Favorites so the users cannot access.  Without Favorites breadcrumbs is the only possibility but the
