Move/Migrate Oracle 11gR2 Database from RHEL 4 to New Server RHEL 5

Plan to create new server with OS RHEL 5.  Current DB server is RHEL 4 with 11gR2 database.  What is best practice for moving the database from 4 to 5 on a new server?  Since it is a new OS do I  need move it using Datapump (create new DB on RHEL 5 and impdp)?  Can I simply use RMAN clone the RHEL 4 DB to the RHEL 5 server if I have same version of Oracle (11.2.0.1) on the RHEL 5 server?  Have not been able to find documentaion on what is required to move to new server for
