YTD COst Center Report

In R12,  I am trying to run a YTD Cost Center reports for Claims and I am having an issue with some parent CC’s I set up.  I was able to pull YTD data for the child values of a parent cost center but there is no YTD data for the parent cost center, it comes back blank.  Why is information for the Parent blank?
