SP/BIOS Level Question

Should I upgrade the SP/BIOS on a ZFSSA? 
The AK appears to maintain all software besides the SP/BIOS firmware for the relevant server platform.  Should I be upgrading this manually?  If so what release should I use (latest?)?  I don't see a 7420 firmware support matrix anywhere.
